Gender disparity in cinema is rooted in the glorification of the singular male gaze by the patriarchal structures of the film industry, ultimately serving to silence diverse storytelling.
Our film aims to playfully envision the amplification of the female voice, encouraging the liberation of womxn’s unique stories and symbolising our longing for the expansion of the female gaze in cinema. 
An inflatable dress is the central focus of our film. As the dress expands throughout the film, it consumes both the model and the frame, physically embodying our desire for the female story to take up more space.
